Hydrotherapy Facilities

Clinical intent, Buildable Detail
Hydrotherapy spaces must feel calm and effortless for the user while performing reliably behind the scenes. ARN Projects installs home hydrotherapy facilities in close collaboration with the architect and wider design team.
We translate design intent into coordinated, buildable installation details that meet safety, functional, and water hygiene requirements.
We turn clinical requirements into practical installation plans, plant selections, and finishes that are straightforward to run and maintain.
From concept to commissioning
Working to the architect’s drawings and specifications, we begin by validating measured access needs, preferred therapies, and property constraints. We test feasibility against structure, ventilation, drainage, and electrical capacity and feed clear installation implications back to the design team.
These being, space, services, noise, humidity control, running costs, and maintenance. Once the approach is agreed, we coordinate builders, M&E, and specialist suppliers, managing a clean sequence from enabling works through installation, commissioning, and handover.
Water hygiene and environmental control
Reliable water quality and a stable environment are essential. In consultation with the designer and suppliers, we recommend and install appropriate filtration and dosing arrangements, temperature control, and circulation to maintain clarity and safety.
We integrate dehumidification, ventilation, and thermal balance strategies provided by the design team, protecting the building fabric, preserving comfort, and reducing condensation risk.
ARN Projects install surfaces specified for slip resistance and cleanability, and we set out drainage and falls to avoid pooling.
Access, safety, and usability
The room must welcome the user and the care team. We implement level access, pool lifts or hoists as required, clear transfer routes, and appropriate handrails and seating to match the project specification.
We install lighting, acoustic treatments, and user controls to the agreed layouts, placing controls at sensible heights with straightforward labelling.
Where space is tight, we work with the design team to develop compact plant rooms and service routes that remain maintainable.
Typical scopes we deliver
We provide coordinated, regulation-compliant installation with predictable delivery, working to the architect’s and engineer’s specifications.
- Supply and installation of pool shells and structures (in-ground or prefabricated) with appropriate waterproofing
- Plant procurement, installation, and layout: filtration, dosing, pumps, heating, and control panels
- Installation of environmental control systems: dehumidification, ventilation, and insulation strategy
- Level-access entries, pool lifts or ceiling-track hoists, and transfer zones
- Anti-slip finishes, drainage setting-out, and cleanable surface installations

Governance, compliance, and documentation
Hydrotherapy projects cross multiple standards and supplier instructions. Budgets are itemised; variations require written approval with rationale; risk and safeguarding measures are agreed before start on site.
At handover, we provide a complete compliance pack, that includes commissioning data, certificates, warranties, O&M manuals, servicing schedules, and photographic records.
This is so operation is clear and audit-ready.
Managing common constraints
Homes often pose limits on space, power, and noise. We mitigate through compact plant choices, acoustic separation, service upgrades where necessary, and zoning that keeps equipment accessible without intruding on the therapy environment.
Where full pools are not feasible, we can stage delivery or help the design team specify alternative water-therapy solutions that respect floor loadings and maintenance realities.
