In the heart of Aughton, Ormskirk our client had a beautiful traditional house but wanted to give it more of a contemporary look.
The new design saw an internal refurbishment, rear extension, new office space, bedrooms and wetroom’s.
The rear extension has become the heart of the home, showcasing a modern open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge area. This free-flowing space blends all living areas together whilst increasing the amount of natural light entering the property at the same time. The extension has under floor heating and Karndean flooring throughout along with a bespoke kitchen.
The exterior of the extension was cladded in VM-Zinc and western red cedar wood cladding. The extension is fitted throughout with frameless Aluminium Raynaers windows to allow an expanse of light into the room. The Raynaers sliding patio doors lead out into the newly landscaped garden, creating a true ‘indoor-outdoor’ feeling.
